Drawing Room

The heart of the house, take a seat  by the fire and let the world settle.  You might find someone with their feet up and glass in hand, maybe the competitive duo battling it out on the Backgammon Board or perhaps that long awaited catch up over a cup of tea.

Traditionally this room would have been occupied by the ladies in the evening, they withdrew here after dinner whilst the men headed to the Library for port and cigars.  These days however,  the open log fire, comfy sofas, a sideboard full of boardgames / puzzles and backgammon table  - makes the drawing room a great spot for everyone to catch up and relax.
